Cuisine Type and Highlights

Keramikk Kafé Blå offers a delightful array of homemade cakes and excellent coffee, with customer favorites including the delicious eplekake (apple cake) and fluffy waffles topped with traditional brown cheese—a must-try for anyone looking to indulge in local flavors. The menu consists of comfort food that nourishes not just the body but the soul, as described by many patrons who rave about their sweet treats and cozy milieu.

Imagine sinking your teeth into a slice of rabarberkake (rhubarb cake), the tartness perfectly balanced with a buttery crust. Or perhaps you daydream of a warm waffle, crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside, paired with rich brown cheese that melts beautifully in your mouth. And what better way to enjoy this deliciousness than seated on the sunlit terrace, breaths of fresh sea air mingling with the enticing aromas wafting from the kitchen?

Memorable Experiences

Customer reviews shine a light on the true essence of this café. Laura Flaig shares, “What an unexpected and nice stop! It was so peaceful to eat selfmade cake on selfmade plates between selfmade pottery with an ocean view.” This sentiment is echoed by other guests like Alice Leetmaa, who calls it the “best cozy family cafe in Northern Norway,” complimenting the art on display and the quality of the homemade food.

Sam Claessens captures the café's charm perfectly: “Delicious eplekake and good coffee,” while Femme Jissink highlights indulgent drinks like the “real cacao with cream” and praises the warm hospitality, so crucial in making every visit feel like a homecoming. The affectionate feedback from patrons makes it clear that each visit to Keramikk Kafé Blå is marked not just by delightful tastes but also by memorable interactions and a sense of community.

For art lovers, the space doubles as a gallery where you can appreciate Tiina's exquisite ceramic pieces, many of which are available for purchase. This intertwining of visual art and culinary artistry creates an environment that encourages creativity and appreciation for craftsmanship. Lovely little cafe and ceramic shop. My favourite place in the region. Delicious eplekake and good coffee. Amazing spot to sit on the sunny terrace. Beautiful ceramic pieces, home made by Tiina. Tusen takk!!

Beautiful café situated at an even more beautiful spot next to the sea. Highlights are the ceramics but also the coffee and waffle deserve 5 stars. The owner is really welcoming.

In my opinion the best cozy family cafe in Northern Norway. Cups and plates made by owner herself. You can also enjoy an exposition of her ceramic artworks and even buy some after enjoying some good coffee and her mouthwatering cakes.

In Scandinavia you see a lot of these sort of cafetaria’s, so we had to trie one… Conclusion: delicious. Really no other words. We had a cappuccino, a chocolate milk (real cacao with cream), a rabarber cake and a waffle with brown cheese (go for this one, for the dutch people: it taste like pannenkoeken met kaas). All so good! Beside the lovely food, the owner is very kind and makes beautiful things (earrings, crockery) of Keramik. I would say: go there and enjoy!
